HOFA Gallery and Scorpios, Mykonos’ well-known creative hub, are ready to reveal ‘In Resonance,’ a breakthrough mix of modern art and music. This multi-sensory spectacle is the debut edition of Scorpios Encounters, a cultural experimental platform.

The seven-week program will run from July 13 to September 3, 2023, and will feature installations by renowned generative artists, music collaborations, live performances, and exclusive digital art. HOFA Co-Founder Elio D’Anna describes ‘In Resonance’ as a “multidisciplinary program” that brings together outstanding AI artists and musicians to investigate the synergistic relationship between art and music.

Refik Anadol, a Turkish-American media artist and filmmaker recognized for his immersive, interactive works, is the show’s star. Anadol has achieved global acclaim for his creative endeavors, with digital collectible sales over $30 million and notable collaborations with famous institutions such as Sotheby’s Hong Kong and MOMA New York.

At Scorpios, Anadol will unveil his latest collection of artworks created in conjunction with the Yawanawa Indigenous communities of Brazil. These works attempt to provide light on the dynamic interplay between Yawanawa culture and the Brazilian Amazon, ushering in a new examination of the links between human consciousness and nature. A percentage of the proceeds from Anadol and Impact One’s collaboration will be used to support Yawanawa cultural efforts.

‘In Resonance’ also features pioneering female AI artist Dr. Ivona Tau and generative artist and musician Agoria. They will showcase their most recent works, which will reflect subjects such as light, sunset data, spiritual beliefs, and the potential of AI in climate change. Hugo Johnson and Jason Sims, an Australian light sculptor, have also contributed.

Scorpios’ Co-Founder and President, Thomas Heyne, is upbeat about the impending show. He sees ‘In Resonance’ as an important step toward establishing a more “multidimensional and fulfilling experience” for both artists and the Scorpios community. The summer of 2023 is expected to bring a wave of artistic innovation to Mykonos, providing an intriguing peek into the magnificent interplay of art, music, and culture.
